Description
About the presenters

This session provides a technical overview of securing the hardware used to access organisational data. We'll compare managed devices owned by the not-for-profit with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) scenarios commonly used by staff and volunteers. You'll learn how to apply security controls that protect work data while respecting personal privacy and avoiding unnecessary management of personal devices. The session is designed for staff responsible for IT, cyber security or digital operations in not-for-profit organisations.

This webinar covers topics including:

  • Understand the differences between managed devices and BYOD environments and the security implications of each.
  • Identify security controls that can protect organisational data across both organisation-owned and personal devices.
  • Apply practical approaches for balancing data protection requirements with user privacy and device ownership considerations.
