This session covers the essentials of structuring and securing SharePoint and Teams. You’ll learn how to move away from ‘all-company’ access and set up permissions correctly, manage guest access safely, and keep sensitive files like donor records protected. We’ll also show you how to audit access and configure sharing settings to reduce risk.
This course is designed to teach participants:
- Understand the hierarchy of SharePoint permissions and how to prevent accidental access.
- Learn how to configure global and site-level settings to limit external sharing.
- Learn how to run basic reports on file and folder access.
